My name is Brian Wasson. I am a professional Illustrator, Animator, Designer, 3D and Digital Artist.

I was born in Donegal in the north west of Ireland, in 1977. I completed my education in Ireland, in Derry and in Dublin. I graduated from the National College of Art & Design in 1999 with a BDes Hons degree in Visual Communications.

Since finishing college I have worked in advertising, as a 2d concept artist and producing 3d animatics. I worked in the computer games industry as a concept artist, character artist and animator. And also worked as a freelance illustrator, designer and animator. I now work mostly freelance, by myself, or in conjuntion with Rumble Studios

Outside of my working life, I have many interests.
I am passionate about music. I have been playing drums since I was a teenager and also a little African percussion.

Martial Arts are a large part of my life. I spent three years practising Wing Chun Kung Fu, and am currently studying and teaching an Indonesian Martial Art called, Pukulan Cimande Pusaka Pencak Silat.

I love the outdoors, climbing and hiking, in 2002 I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa.

I am also a gaming fan. Four years in the computer games industry has failed to dull my enthusiasm for games of all kinds.
